ALASKA AIRLINES APOLOGY

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

As many of our members noticed, an error was made in the printing of the latest edition of the Observer newsletter.  Our publishing company was at our last convention and interviewed delegates and printed those interviews in the Observer.  Unfortunately, the interviewer listed the employer for the Alaska Airline members as “Alaskan Airlines”.  To the members of Alaska Airlines, I apologize for this error.  We review each edition prior to it going to print, sometimes as many as three or more times, before giving the publisher the OK to print.  At least two of us in the District review the paper, in addition to the workers at the publishing house.  None of us caught that error.  I have contacted the publishing house and they have taken actions on their end to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.  We will be more vigilant in our review of the paper going forward also, again to prevent this from re-occurring.

Sincerely and fraternally,

Dave Supplee
