ExpressJet CRJ Email & Website Posting Error

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Earlier today, your representative Marche Johnson-Cooper, drafted a bulletin based on initial discussions she had with the company.  This bulletin was sent to me for approval, with instructions to hold the bulletin until Marche advised us the company had posted their notice.  I approved the bulletin, and forwarded to my office to be processed and sent to the webmaster, with instructions to hold posting and emailing until further instructions were sent by myself.  Unfortunately, when the webmaster received the bulletin, the message about holding until hearing from me was overlooked and the bulletin was posted immediately and email blasted to our ExpressJet members.  For this, please accept my apologies and I am sorry for any unneeded concern or confusion this bulletin posting may have caused.  Once we were aware this notice went live, I personally contacted the webmaster to remove that posting from the website.  We have reviewed our procedures and have put in place controls to prevent this from occurring on other bulletins.

Marche was doing her job in making sure our members would have been promptly advised once the company released their bulletin.  As these issues moved forward, changes were made and those changes were not addressed in that initial posting.   A revised bulletin will be posted following this message.

Again, please accept my apologies for this error.

Fraternally,

Dave Supplee
President and Directing General Chair
