Through the Grievance Mediation process, Et. Al. Grievance 1779 has been settled. This grievance was filed based on the contractual language Section 8.A.2 and all other applicable provisions of the CRJ CBA as follows:
A Reserve Flight Attendant shall be scheduled for ten (10) days off in a bid period. Three (3) of these days shall be Golden Days. A Reserve Flight Attendant may not be drafted on a Golden Day, nor scheduled or Rescheduled for a trip that operates on a Golden Day.
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) #13 has been agreed upon to clarify the language between the Union and the Company.
As a reminder while bidding, if there is a possibility you could be on RSV remember to select all pairings before RSV, preference your days off and submit enough RSV bids to ensure you receive your GDO’s in the order you want them. If there aren’t enough RSV line bids submitted, it will then go to the default setting.
