PBS Update

The Jan. 2016 preliminary bid awards were published on FLICA with a virtual credit error.  Virtual Credit for RGT/CST 2016 is 4 hours each day.  Once the Union made the Company aware of the error we requested the preliminary bids be pulled immediately.  The virtual credit error is being corrected and bids will be run from the final bids that were submitted by 5:00 pm on Dec. 17, 2015. Finals will be published when they are due Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at 5:00 pm.

Schedule Change
Lineholder’s please remember we have language on being rescheduled.  Per the CRJ contract, Section 7.R states, “The Company may use the following rescheduling/reassignment, drafting and extension provisions when necessary to prevent cancellations, prevent or reduce delays or otherwise maintain the integrity of the schedule”.

If you believe your schedule was changed and the above provision wasn’t followed, contact scheduling immediately and ask for a detailed reason.  If it’s not resolved, contact your grievance rep and please have a screen shot of the following available:  your pairing and the changed pairing, the bucket list of RSV’s at the time of rescheduling, as well as a copy of your crew trac history.

ERJ 2016 RGT/CST Training Concerns

We have received questions and concerns regarding the upcoming 2016 RGT and CST training.  We have extensively researched the contractual obligations of the Company regarding training and while we have not found the Company to be in violation of the CBA, we realize two training days along with possibly having to travel to/from training does put an additional burden on your flexibility and quality of life.   Subsequently, the IAM has brought your concerns to the table with the Company and are in talks on possible ways to ease the burden of the additional day of training.  Once we receive more feedback on a possible resolution to these issues we will send an update.

Step 2 Grievances

We received five more grievances this week for appeal to Step 2.  The base breakdown for the grievancecurrent pending Step 2 grievances is as follows:

IAH-2

EWR-2

CLE-2

ORD-5

Currently, we are coordinating a date in January with the Company to hear the outstanding Step 2 grievances.
