The parties met for Negotiations on April 26, 27 and 28, 2016 at the Crown Plaza Milwaukee, WI. Present for the Company were Bob Frisch, SR VP & COO, Tina Vos, Managing Director Human Resources, Katherine Lessard, Tech Stores Ops Manager, Jessica Mont Marquette, Employee Relations Manager, and Ashley Krueger, Employee Relations Manager. Present for the Union were Jerry Lemke, General Chair, and the Negotiating Committee Members, Sartchander Vemuri, and Mark Holtz.
During the initial discussion the Union requested that the Company pay out sick time and severance pay for the Furloughed PSA’s. The Company stated that they were not interested in doing anything beyond the requirements of the Agreement.
No openers where exchanged. The Company stated that their goal was to not increase the cost of the COFPS Agreement. Several proposals were exchanged between the parties, including Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 14, 22, 24, 25, and 29. Discussions centered on full explanations behind each proposal. Dialogue between the parties was again positive and constructive. The following Articles where tentatively agreed upon, 3, 4, 14, and 24.
Negotiations will resume on June 6, 7, and 8 in Milwaukee, WI. F uture Negotiation meetings are planned on July 12, 13, and 14 in Appleton, WI.
