The IAM has been in communication with United regarding jumpseat implementation since we were able to negotiate the return of a reciprocal program in late 2016.
The United IT/EmployeeRes team is in the process of updating the profiles of all eligible Flight Attendants from ExpressJet and CommutAir, which is why some CommutAir members earlier this week were seeing a red font saying they were jumpseat eligible at the top of their profile along with an additional drop down option for the jumpseat. This was shown in error as United prepares for reciprocal jumpseat implementation. This has been corrected and should not be visible until ExpressJet and CommutAir Flight Attendants are able to actually list and be cleared for a jumpseat, which is expected to happen soon.
