Please be advised that we have completed the ratification lump sum bonus true-up calculations.
The “true-up” provision in the IAM-Southwest collective bargaining agreement increases our original ratification bonus received in 2014. The amount is based on your pay step and work status—part-time or full-time—at the time the initial ratification bonus was paid in 2014.
Again, I want to thank the negotiating committee for having the foresight to add this protection to your agreement. This was done to keep you at the top of the scale for pay and benefits with your fellow coworkers, and guarantee that you received any other lump sum bonus other comparable Southwest employees received.
